Jesus – Yeshua The Messiah did not come to abolish the Torah (teachings) of The Old Testament. He came to clarify and give the true and perfect meaning of scripture, and complete it. Jesus – Yeshua was and is a Jew. Atonement, Salvation, Immersion (Baptism), the New Covenant, and the concept of a Messiah (Savior) are all Jewish. The New Testament is built upon and completes Hebrew scriptures.
